今天是是一次充滿歡樂的步行 慶祝新年的一次大聚會 人數應是最多的一次 達32人 雖有大雨仍澆不息大伙的極高興致 有很好的視野 尤其是湖中島 雨後 花草也特別美 最後的重頭戲 聚餐 大家的廚藝都超好

今天和Susan一家參加登山隊的徒步 共有28位參加今天的徒步

這是一條有趣的步道 景觀多變 有森林高點沙灘岩岸 多次登上高點再降至低點海邊 因此有極好視野 有多處拍照好點

Clevedon Reserve

參加登山隊走路 步道upgrade的非常好 最重要的是沿路都有森林大樹 不同稙被 可視為觀光客步道 所幸還走到Trig 才像登山隊徒步 另外還加點小菜 走一小段Hilaray track 非常稠密的草叢

Arataki Visitor Centre tracks

今天15位隊員參加 這算是一條觀光客步道 整理的太好 沒處爬樹攀岩 開始經過藝術廊道走Nature Trails 真的很不錯 步道陰涼 看到了600歲樹齡的大Kauri樹 也看到了Kauri Catheral 數顆Kauri樹圍起來像座教堂

然後走Slip Track, Pipeline Road, Exhibition Drive, Beveridge Track loop 有陰涼有曝露 看到很長的大水管 故名Pipeline Road 步道上多處看到不錯的視野 最後的Beveridge Track 植被很好

Coromandel之3天行 (16-18/11/2020)

第1天 Shakespeare Cliff Lookout, flaxmill bay和Cathedral Cove

Shakespeare Cliff在Mercury Bay內 介於Cooks Beach和Flaxmill Bay之間 有極好的視野 右邊看到了Loney Bay和有3公里長新月形的白沙灘Cooks Beach

Flaxmill Bay的岩石被浪波和風侵蝕 形成奇特的造型

Cathedral Cove是Coromandel一處幾乎最出名的景點 看到非常非常大的停車場 可以想像在假期沒有疫情以及有外國遊客 Cathedral Cove以及步道上將會是多麼擁擠的情景 Visitor Centre停車場接人行道到beach 沿著beach看到大pohutukawa樹走上樓梯 沿著步道就可到Lookout及Cathedral Cove 天氣太熱 差一小段沒到Cathedral Cove 

第2天行程 Opera Point Walk and New Chums Beach

這是一處有意思的小步道 首先經過小叢林到達高點(Pa Lookout) 看到Matarangi半島 其前沿就有一golf球場 接下來蜿蜒下山到beach 有老樹 看到濕地和漂亮的沙灘 看到一片新娘花 Kelly情不自禁聞起花香 到beach後有經過鳥保護區 因還不夠低潮 為免濕鞋 我們艱難的爬過高處再接上步道 出口處有不錯的beach休憩處

是紐西蘭最美的海灘之一 也是世界排名前20最美的海灘之一 難處是必需在低潮過一小溪 再經過一段亂石步道 才可到達 白色沙灘 襯托在灌木叢和高大的pōhutukawa及波光粼粼的海水 更顯優美

我們從停車場過沙灘 小溪 亂石步道 然後才是森林步道 才到達New Chums Beach 沙灘邊有灌木叢和高大的pōhutukawa襯托  更顯優美 回程攀爬 85公尺高的New Chums Lookout (rocky Motuto Point) 俯瞰經典形式的耀眼的白色沙灘 更顯精美 怪不得可成為世界排名前20最美的海灘之一

第3天行程 Waiau Kauri Grove Lookout Walk and Waiau Falls和Karaka track

Waiau Kauri Grove Lookout Walk 

這是一處很雅的小步道 首先在Lookout看到成叢的Kauri樹 接著沿優雅的boardwalk看連體的Kauri樹(The ‘Siamese’ kauri which forks just above the ground) 非常奇特 因是兩顆種子離的太近 長沒多高就碰在一起 接著就長成一隻 真是完美的妥協 另一處是看到這裏最巨大的Kauri樹(a diameter of 1.9m and a girth of 6m)

Waiau Falls

在距離100公尺看到很優雅的瀑布(Waiau Falls) 沿著溪流景觀很美 亦可在溪流中戲水

這是一登山者喜愛的步道 沿溪而行 起點就是一處蠻優雅的瀑布 開始緩坡向上 經過多處岩壁 數個礦坑有些可 小橋 因是沿溪而行 有小瀑 流水 景觀多變 溪的另一邊是極高的綠色植被 漸行越高 森林越濃密 時有過小水溝 路況也越艱難 目的地是十里畫廊 岩璧附著不同顏色苔蘚 產生動人的畫卷 我們沒有達標 最後四張是登山隊拍攝的以顯這裏的十里畫廊

Mangawhai Walkway  (31/10/2020) 

Mangawhai Walkway 是一優美的海灘 有沙岸岩岸 而且還有規劃很好的CliffsWalkway 沿著海岸蜿蜒 步道沿途有老樹 林木蒼鬱 景觀多變 並可遠眺廣闊的蔚藍海面 再沿海岸回程時看到了擱淺的鯨魚遺體 

最幸運的是低潮時間剛好 可造訪Track extension 和Rocky outcrop at Mangawhai Heads 兩處最精彩的地方

Taranaki Trip (19/10 - 22/10/2020)

這次Taranaki四天之行 造訪了一處濃密小森林Ratapihipihi Scenic Reserve. Taranaki有十來座Gardens 其中最主要的有四座包括Pukeiti Gardens, Tupare Garden, Pukekura Park, and Hollard Gardens. 這次造訪了Pukeiti Gardens和Tupare Garden兩座 Pukekura Park以前已去過了. 第三天挑戰有些難度的 Part of Holly Track and Veronica Loop Track 景觀絕佳 非常值得 空檔也去了Paritutu Rock和Te Rewa Rewa Bridge. 最後一天造訪馳名的Lake Mangamahoe.

Pukeiti Gardens

Pukeiti Gardens以杜鵑花園聞名 主要是虎班杜鵑花 現在應是盛開季節 可能連續幾天下雨 感覺沒那麼盛開 花園很美也整理的很好 Pukeiti Gardens不是我們想像中的花園 更貼切的講像在登山 上下高差很大 甚至要走入森林 沿溪而行

還有好幾個精巧的小木屋 爭加整個花園的氛圍 最候來到Keiller Garden 這是一座室外住房 有客廳 房間 裏面陳放沙發台燈擺飾等等 儼然就一座無頂的室外房舍

Tupare Gardens

Tupare Gardens也和Pukeiti Gardens一樣 不是我們想像中的花園 更像登山 上下高差很大 甚至要走到河邊 沿河而行

但Tupare Gardens和Pukeiti Gardens很大的不同是幾乎沒什麼花卉 綠色稙物眾多 一眼望去幾乎是綠色植被覆蓋 恬靜氛圍 小池塘很優美 優雅的座椅 傍邊就是階梯狀小瀑布 更顯恬靜 也走的河邊 有像露營區一樣的大片草地大樹 最後造訪 Cottage 有眾多園內介紹的資訊和優雅擺飾

Paritutu Rock 原來從旅館就看到的小小山 約200階梯後 就要鏈條登上 有很好的視野 幾個小島一覽無遺

Lake Mangamahoe

這是一條沿著湖的優雅步道 我們在湖邊路盡頭的停車場 先沿湖邊開始走 盡是極美倒影 接著登高到極好的lookout 然後經過Dam就進入沿著湖岸周圍起伏的步道 會經過幾座橋 讓人印象深刻的成叢大棕櫚樹林 紅木林 lookout 再經過吊橋就到一處park有花叢紅木林就到主停車場 要沿湖邊路回停車處 沿湖邊路也有很美湖景

這條步道是頗富盛名的pouakai circuit的一段 從North Egmont Visitor Centre經過無盡的階梯 爬過山脊 橫穿溝壑進出 攀過岩石 經過令人印象深刻的Dieffenbach Cliffs 走到懸崖盡頭 回程為避開無盡的階梯 走Veronica Loop Track回停車場

Ratapihipihi Scenic Reserve walk

第一天開車路山碰到多個管制等等 另外天候很不好所幸後來好些 就到這一小的 Reserve  沒想到讓人驚艷 非常濃密的森林 走進去就變得很暗 走到空處就變亮了 整理的還好 保有比較自然 有大樹 溪流 小橋 瀑布 讓人感覺很舒暢 而且費時不長 約一小時 若有機會再到Taranaki 會再重訪

全德15天旅遊(10/06/2017 - 3/07/2017)
說是15天 第1天和第15天在飛機上 第2天和第14天只半天 因此實際上只有12天 

這次參加旅行社全德15天旅遊 行程有些過於緊湊 因此忽略一些重要訪點 行程都偏重人文 並非最愛 就當成一次經驗吧！ 
這次旅遊 看到了德國的一些優勢 沿路看到許多太陽能板和風力發電裝置 民房屋頂也有不少裝置太陽能板 足見德國對於綠色能源的重視。 德國目前算無核國家 但有其條件 因有很大一部份電力由法國供應。另外人民生活相當簡樸 可由他們的房舍車輛看出， 我還造訪了一間民宅 裡面的陳設非常簡樸。(click) 德國總理 梅克爾 訪問中國可見一斑，不愧為工業大國一個國家領導人，代表了國家人民的素質、涵養及國家未來的發展和希望。還有是參觀賓士博物館 讓我很震撼 那麼早期 德國工業已經興盛 當然政府的政策有席席相關。其他就不多敘述。
最讓我敬佩的是職業信念 我們一團人在一藥局購買白靈油等 有一位當地人要買藥 結果店主卻先招呼這位後到的， 導遊有些不高興說first come first service， 這位店主回答說 他的店不是藝品店 是藥局 因此賣藥給人治病最優先。 當然德國也不是什麼都好 有些旅館 機場等 效率也不怎麼好。

We (James and Kelly) had a 12 days trip in Te Anau, South Island (22/02 - 5/03/2015). (From < t183> to < t188>)
這次的行程有兩處艱難 1.Hump Ridge Track有三天行程 住兩晚Hut(兩人一房 因此價高 紐元550) 每天19-20km 尤其第一天要爬升1000公尺 2.Routeburn Track有兩天行程 住一晚Hut(通鋪) 每天14-15km 
 我們這次旅程 若有神助 行走Hump Ridge Track 我們的目標是Okaka Hut (9 Hrs) 由於Vistor Centre的誤導 走入岔路 當天走了7小時(incl lunch 0.5hr) Kelly已經相當疲憊 James也很吃力 真的很難想像 若沒有走錯 背重走19-20km並爬升1000公尺 將會是大麻煩 神已經保守我們的行程 讓不可能走錯的路竟然走錯 不讓我們走這麼艱難的行程 避開劫難 最讓我們欣慰的是NZ$550全數退回 使這次旅程沒有缺憾
Routeburn Track兩天一夜行程 也要背重 睡袋食物鍋具 神痛惜我們 James的1公斤重照相機前一天故障了 因此Routeburn Track走得還算輕鬆

此次造訪西澳南部(south of West Australia)(1/9/2014-19/9/2014) 除了登山 另一大目標就是欣賞西澳野花. 每年7月至11月 西澳遍地都會開滿五顏六色的野花 品種達12,000種之多 素有「野花之州」的美譽. 野花期間 花海一片 令人目不暇給 大開眼界. 行程不錯 唯到達稍遲 因此有些地方花已凋謝 另外是每日豔陽高照 實在太熱 因此有些行程稍有縮減 另一點是澳洲地域遼闊 這次17 18天的行程開車達3600公里

Dunedin, including Otago Peninsula - Around city of Dunedin and Otago Peninsula are volcanic origins. The most landforms around city are hill rising and the columnar basalt is found somewhere. Otago Peninsula stretches 20 km from the city to the northeast. The Peninsula itself is a mixture of spectacular cliffs and white-sand beaches where marine wildlife is common.

Greater Blue Mountains - The unique plants and animals that live the Greater Blue Mountains relate an extraordinary story of the evolution of Australia's unique eucalypt vegetation and its associated communities, plants and animals. It is an area of breathtaking views, rugged tablelands, sheer cliffs, deep, inaccessible valleys and swamps. The Greater Blue Mountains was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2000.

Grand Canyon Track - its sandstone overhangs, waterfalls and underground section of stream all make it a most remarkable place in Blue Mountain.

總長54公里的米佛步道 被喻為世界最好的步道之一 景色壯觀迷人  尤其由峽谷傾瀉而下的數百條瀑布令人難忘

To experience the beauty of QUEENSTOWN, we visited lake shores (Queenstown Gardens Walkway, Frankton Walkway, Moke Lake, Scenic drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy, and Glenorchy Lagoon) and high mountains (Queenstown Hills and Ben Lomond) 
為盡賞Queenstown的湖光山色 走訪湖濱 並登高眺望 Queenstown的Wakatipu湖為紐西蘭第三大湖 群山環繞 若在冬季 山頂白 雲覆蓋 倒影鮮明 景色絕佳 此次 造訪不是冬季 外加天候不佳 因此景色稍遜

Ben Lomond Track也是一熱門的登山步道 峰頂1748米 需有相當體力才能登頂 但到達鞍部已經有非常不錯的視野 站在高處鳥瞰群山，景色十分壯闊美麗，有崇山峻嶺之勢
