Abundance of species including broadleaf, kahikatea, kamahi, matai and rimu trees surround the track. 
有多棵大樹 樹形奇特 另有萬年前巨岩上有貝殼化石 見證曾在海底

A huge chunk of limestone which long ago tumbled from the top of Raetihi Hill. Fossil seashells in this three million year old rock bear testimony to the fact that the limestone cap of Raetihi Hill was once part of the sea bed.
