Whananaki Estuary Track
Whananaki Estuary The track leaves the road and circles around a paddock fenceline to reach a stop bank on the side of the Whananaki Estuary. From there, the track follows along the Estuary to the Whananaki Footbridge and the Village.


We started Whananaki Foot Bridge and  walked per the yellow marking

an impressive 395 metres joining the South and North Whananaki's together

Crystal clear water and we could see a flock of fish

We walked the Peninsula Loop Walk around the headland and  the beach walk up the estuary at the Okupe Island per the yellow marking
