Hapuawhenua Viaduct Walk
這是一次歷史遺蹟的探索 最主要是造訪有優美弧狀並獲世界工程遺產的Hapuawhenua高架橋 途中有許多解說牌 步道平緩 並經過優美的Punga森林

歷經2年(1907-1908)在經過嚴冬以及艱困環境 為要及時完工 所有工作人員兩年都沒有離開這隔絕的艱困環境 在當時確是一不得了的工程 因此獲世界工程遺產(World Heritage Engineering)

是一短但精采的步道 除了吸引人的Waitonga Falls 並橫跨高山溼地的boardwalk 尤其高山小湖泊稱托其間更是迷人

Mangawhero Falls為Lord of the Rings的電影場景 有一種不一樣的美
The Mangawhero Falls was used as the location for ‘Ithilien’, where Gollum catches fish, in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
